Are you interested in taking the Physics Olympiad test? This is the first step toward joining the U.S. Physics Team, representing our country in international competition. The Gunn Culture Connection Club is looking for Japanese, Chinese, Korean, French, Spanish, and other language Speakers who are interested in translating for volunteer hours. We translate many district documents such as the Gunn Connection and many miscellaneous newsletters. We meet every other Friday in room N-103. Student photos and Day Planners are available for pickup in the Student Activities Center. If you already purchased an ASB Membership Card or Lightning Pass, come to the SAC to have your card punched so you can take advantage of discounts for sports events, dances, apparel and other Gunn activities. The Academic Center is desperately in need of student tutors! If you want to earn community service hours and sharpen your knowledge by teaching another, email [email protected] or stop by the AC next to the library. If you have a B prep period and can tutor French 2, please come to the Academic Center right away and become a tutor. Apply in Room D-2, or log onto Tutorbook.app and create an account. Do the same if you can tutor Spanish 2 or above and are available Tuesday or Thursday after school. Also, An AP Japanese tutor is needed, so if you can help, please come to the Academic Center!
